We are appealing for witnesses and / or recorded footage following a collision which was reported to us yesterday (Thursday 25 June) shortly after 12.30pm.
Two vehicles were involved: a Gold Yamaha motorcycle and a black Ford Mondeo. Sadly, a 61-year-old man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision occurred on the A158 between the Greetham turn off and High Toynton.
The Yamaha bike was travelling from the direction of Hagworthingham towards Horncastle, and the Ford Mondeo was traveling in the opposite direction.
We are now looking to establish the precise circumstances of the collision. If you were travelling in the vicinity and may have captured any dashcam footage in the moments preceding the incident and think you can help, please get in touch.
